The 2023 Sheru Classic France Pro bodybuilding competition took place on Saturday, September 30, 2023, in Lille, France. It included four IFBB Pro League tournaments, with the Men’s Open serving as the major attraction. Nathan De Asha triumphed in his second competition of the 2023 season. Maxime Yedess won Classic Physique, while Emile Walker of England won Men’s Physique and Kristina Brunauer won her first show of the season in Bikini.
Men’s Open Winner — Nathan De Asha
De Asha was already qualified for the 2023 Olympia Weekend in Orlando, FL, on Nov. 2-5, 2023, courtesy to his triumph in the 2023 Flex Weekend Pro earlier in the season. Not only did he win the 2023 Sheru Classic France, but he also prevented another Men’s Open participant from qualifying for the Olympics. This season, only pro show winners are invited to the Olympia.
Maxime Yedess won the Classic Physique competition
Yedess was the lone French winner in this competition. It was his first victory of the 2023 season, and it guarantees his return to the Classic Physique Olympia stage for the first time since 2020, when he finished 16th. Alexander Westermeier took second place, and German Pastor of Spain took bronze.
Men’s Physique Champion — Emile Walker
Emile Walker competed in his fourth show of the 2023 season, seeking his first professional victory in his five-year career. He is eligible to compete in the Men’s Physique Olympia in Orlando. Alessandro Cavagnola won silver by a two-point margin over France’s top finisher, Lenny Massouf.
Kristina Brunauer won the bikini division
Kristina Brunauer has shown tenacity and determination this season. She finally earned a title to qualify for the 2023 Bikini Olympia in her eighth pro show of the year. She had finished in the top five in six of her previous seven contests but had never won first place until today. Second place went to Vivienne Kahl, and third place went to Alice Marchisio.
