Sheru Aangrish, CEO and founder of Sheru Classic, is a bodybuilder and fitness personality from India who has won many awards for his great physique and bodybuilding. Sheru Classic today is proud to present Asia’s biggest and best bodybuilding championship with the finest bodybuilders. The Sheru Classic IFBB Pro Qualifiers Bodybuilding Championship was held on June 17th, 18th, and 19th, 2022 in New Delhi, where athletes from all over India had the opportunity to showcase their strength and talents before being deemed qualified enough by these high-level competitions! The Sheru Classic Pro Qualifiers provide a platform for aspiring fitness models who want to showcase their strengths and get an opportunity to be recognised by other professional athletes.
Asia’s biggest bodybuilding championship with great bodybuilding legends is going to make this event memorable and extraordinary. The event will not only sparkle with the presence of Mr. Sheru Aangrish, Manish Gandhi, and our other honourable national as well as international guests, but also embark on the zeal of excitement with different activities. Last year’s Sheru Classic IFBB Pro Qualifiers concluded with a thrilling victory by Subeel Nisar Shah.
The event, which is always well-attended and highly competitive, never fails to excite us. This time we are back with power pact activities. On Friday, June 17, 2022, the event will have a press conference with the opening ceremony of the Sheru Classic IFBB Pro Qualifiers along with the inauguration of the OPEN National MMA Championship 2022. This highly anticipated event is expected to draw a large audience as some of the best MMA fighters in the country compete for the title. The opening ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m.
After the successful registration and official meet, the event completed its quarter-final and semi-final rounds on June 18, 2022. Women’s Benchpress in all categories and Men’s Benchpress took place, where we have our finalist for the last round. These are important competitions that will determine who advances to the next level.

Dexter Jackson
Dexter Jackson is an American professional bodybuilder, 2008 Mr. Olympia champion, and current IFBB Pro Bodybuilding Champion. Dexter Jackson is a world-renowned bodybuilder and four-time Mr. Olympia winner. He has dedicated his life to fitness, and his work has inspired others to achieve their own fitness goals.
Ulisses Jr
Ulisses Jr. is known for his shredded 8-pack and amazing physique. Achieving one of the greatest physiques in history, Ulisses has now turned his attention to helping others do the same. Ulisses Jr. is a world-renowned bodybuilder who has won numerous competitions. He possesses an incredible level of discipline. Just 5 years after he had started training, his hard work had led him to win the Novice Middleweight division of the 2000 Platinum Classic NYC, which is incredible.
Lazar Angelov
Lazar Angelov is a fitness influencer who has been featured in catalogs, on magazine covers, and at events around the world. He’s worked with some global brands like Nike to help them design their products, but his true passion lies in training people how they can get into shape themselves through exercise programmes he creates for clients all over social media.
Sergio Oliva Jr.
Sergio Oliva Jr. is a decorated athlete who has been competing for over 10 years, and he’s only getting better with time! He placed 3rd at the Southern in 2006 before going on to win several other prestigious titles, including Mr. Northwest Florida 2008 Heavyweight title & Overall Winner 2009-2020 Arnold Classic Second Place. It’s not just bodybuilding that has taken Sergio Oliva Jr. from a normal student to an athlete with star power! He appeared in SUPPS: The Movie (2018) and Bigger (2018). He’s also the CEO of Victory Clothing Company, which produces clothing for athletes around the world.
Manoj Patil
Manoj Patil is a professional bodybuilder who has been successful both in India and internationally. He excels at the IFBB Pro League, where he competed in the Physique category, with his most notable wins being Mr. India Men’s Overall Championship as well as the Maharasthra Men’s Physique Overall Title. He became popular after winning these prestigious competitions, which helped him land appearances on TV programmes such as the Indian Idol show B Track Dune II.
Sunaina Setia
Sunaina is an international figure athlete who has won many prestigious titles, including the 2018 Jerai Classic Grand, the 2017 Sheru Classic Model Search ‘figure’, and the Fit Factor India competition winner for 2016. Her achievements don’t stop there; she also took first place at the Pacha Holland Bodybuilding Championship in the 2015-2016 season openers with a perfect score of 10/10.
Wasim Khan
Indian bodybuilder Wasim Khan has made history by winning two back-to-back overall titles in the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation event. He is now the only Indian competitor to ever win such an award, joining Murli Kumar Sr., Suhas Khamkar, and Amit Chhetri, who’ve all taken home this prestigious prize before him.
Shivani Gupta
Shivani Gupta is a young and upcoming Indian bodybuilding competitor who has been gaining fame for her impressive victories in competitive fitness modeling. She was considered among one of the top female competitors from India at this year’s MS DELHI YMCA 2019 event, where she captured second place. She’s considered among the top female bodybuilders in her country, winning many national contests like MS DELHI YMCA 2019 and international ones such as MS ASIA 2019 BRONZE and even VIIJAY CLASSIC 2021.
Nitin Chandila
Nitin Chandila is a bodybuilder, fitness coach, and social media influencer who has won many awards for his work in the field. He’s trained under some well-known coaches like Gurdev Sohal (GB) and Satish Babu (US). He represents India at international competitions like Mr. World and NBBUI, where he wins gold medals.
Nishant Bansal
Nishant has won the Mr. Chandigarh title seven times, and he also owns the Mr. Punjab title five times. He also owns an impressive collection of other titles, including one from IFBB. The 27-year old fitness professional was last seen competing in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Professional League held at their headquarters in Mumbai, where he took home victory for himself with ease against tough competition.
Afroz Khan
Odisha’s most famous bodybuilder, Afroz Khan, has won a silver medal in the Men’s Physique category of the Asia Grand Prix 2018 bodybuilding event held in Seoul, South Korea. He was the only person from his state to represent Odias and win this competition organised by the IFBB Professional League. He was also felicitated with a cash prize by the organisers for achieving this feat of prowess.
Mukesh Singh Gahlot
Mukesh Singh Gahlot, a bodybuilder and powerlifter from India, has won four Mr. India titles in total, three of which were consecutive wins between 2008 and 2010. He also holds many gold medals internationally, including at the 2010 World Powerlifting Championships where he came in first place overall with an amazing lift of 215 kgs (beginning weight included). He’s one athlete who can proudly call themselves both a BOD Pilate’s teacher as well as be active within the realms of Olympic lifting in sports like weight lifting or even track & field events.
Sham Singh Shera
Sham Singh Shera is one of the most inspiring people in India. He suffered from polio as a child and his right leg has withered due to this illness, but despite all odds, he found strength within himself to build up an impressive physique that those with disabilities should be proud of too. The Indian bodybuilder has built up this incredible shape in spite of his disability-but what really boggles our minds is just how handsomely chiselled he appears despite being born with Polio.
Bharat Singh Walia
The young bodybuilder Bharat Singh Walia has secured second place in the Classic Physique category, winning a silver medal at the Arnold Classic 2022 show. Bharat’s muscular frame is one that has captured the eye of many. He first won Mr. India at just 21 years old, then went on to win Musclefashion USA 2019 for his home country—India! This man knows how to put on an impressive showmanship performance with expert poses and ripped muscles flexing all over his body like there’s no tomorrow.
Bhupender Dhawan
Bhupender Dhawan is a weightlifter and coach. He has been coaching the Indian powerlifting team since 1994, with an emphasis on bodybuilding as well. Between 1996 and 2019, he served both roles for this country’s athletes in those respective fields, winning numerous awards along the way, including “the best coach & player” award from Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh and Dronacharya Awards from Narayanan in 2000, which are considered India’s highest accolade and are only given to excellence coaches involved primarily in sports execution or games-playing related activities worldwide.
Rohit Shetty
The journey of bodybuilding is a long and difficult one. It takes dedication, hard work, but most importantly, it requires passion for your craft, which Rohit Shetty had in abundance! The Indian flag bearer at the international level has been able to instil pride not only in himself as an athlete who excels on stage or during competition time; rather, he uses his stature as motivation for bodybuilders who aspire to achieve success like him.
Rich Gaspari
In 1989, at the age of 16 years old, Rich Gaspari won his most significant career victory. He became not only America’s but also international bodybuilding’s first ever winner of an IFBB Hall of Fame Award—the Arnold Classic! For three consecutive years from 1986 to 1988, “Silver Rich” took 2nd place as Mr. Olympia until he finally went on to win it all in 1991 by taking home gold medals for both muscularity and shape discipline.
Apart from these renowned bodybuilders, there are other prestigious personalities who will inspire us with their journey, dedication, and consistent hard work. This is Asia’s biggest bodybuilding championship and will have Dipak Manda, Steve DeVore, Mr. Yuvraj, Noor Khan, and Pankaj Gajwani. These great personalities have contributed to the field of fitness and exercise. Their work has helped to shape the current landscape of the fitness industry, and their influence will continue to be felt for years to come.
