Hadi Choopan’s journey to becoming a professional bodybuilder
Hadi Choopan spent his early bodybuilding years focusing solely on gaining size and beginning to look like a bodybuilder. Jamshid Owji was his first coach in 2002. Due to Hadi’s small size at the time, Jamshid only allowed him to lift 5kg weights. Nonetheless, Choopan would grow and become larger.
Hadi Choopan finished third in a national competition after only three years of professional bodybuilding. He also won first place in competitions in his hometown of Providence of Fars. However, it was in 2005 that he won his first national title and established himself as someone to watch.
Hadi Choopan won first place in the WBPF Asia Championships in 2013, kicking off a successful professional career. He returned to compete in the WBPF World Bodybuilding Championships, winning gold in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Despite his success, this was his only competition during those years.
Choopan would stop training with Ne’mati in 2017, ushering in the next chapter of his professional career. He would train with the world-renowned Hany Rambod at this point and in the future.
